Mavs game tonight

DBcom Boards. News Podcasts DBcom Boards. Home Dallas Mavericks News. By Grant Afseth. By Lance Roberson. Brunson contributed 14 points FG, 3Pt, FT , seven rebounds and six assists in 37 minutes during Wednesday's loss to the Knicks. Brunson finished as Dallas' second-best scorer behind Luka Doncic, but he did more than just put the ball in the basket and found a way to contribute in other categories as well.

Brunson has been a major success since moving into the starting unit a long time ago, averaging Hardaway posted 13 points FG, 3Pt, FT , one rebound, three assists and one steal over 29 minutes during Wednesday's loss to the Knicks. The Mavericks struggled offensively as a team Wednesday, and Hardaway was one of three players who managed to score in double digits alongside Jalen Brunson and Luka Doncic.

The veteran guard has started just one game since the beginning of December, and while his scoring figures have been inconsistent at times, he still has scored in double figures in four of his last six contests. Porzingis will miss a sixth consecutive game, and five of his absences have been due to the NBA's health and safety protocols. Maxi Kleber should continue to handle a starting role, while Porzingis' next chance to play will be Friday against the Grizzlies. Brunson notched 17 points FG, 3Pt , four rebounds, four assists and one steal across 28 minutes during Sunday's victory over Chicago.

Brunson seems to have settled in nicely as a starter alongside Luka Doncic in Dallas' backcourt, and the former Villanova standout has been an efficient, productive scorer while handling an increased role.

He has started in each of Dallas' last 15 games and is averaging Green contributed 18 points FG, 3Pt, FT , six rebounds and one assist over 22 minutes during Sunday's victory over Chicago. Green has logged at least 20 minutes in five of his last eight games, but he has embraced a bigger role -- and better numbers -- in his last two appearances, clearing the point mark in both contests. While he's not likely to continue producing at this rate going forward, he might a decent streaming option for as long as Kristaps Porzingis COVID remains sidelined.

Doncic ended with 22 points FG, 3Pt, FT , 14 rebounds and 14 assists in 35 minutes during Sunday's win over the Bulls. Doncic was considered a game-time call for Sunday's matchup after missing the previous contest due to a right ankle sprain, but he didn't show any lingering effects of that injury considering he notched a triple-double to carry Dallas to victory. The lack of efficiency continues to affect Doncic at times, but he's a nightly triple-double threat and continues to be an elite asset in fantasy when healthy.

Dallas has just about returned to full strength after incurring a wave of injury and COVIDrelated absences over the past couple weeks, but Kristaps Porzingis' recent placement in the health and safety protocols will allow the Mavericks to keep Chriss on the roster for another week and a half.

Hitting the point mark in four of their previous five contests, it seems the Knicks' offense has found its groove. Knicks wing RJ Barrett, not typically known as a shooter, is on quite the roll from the three-point line. Converting 48 percent of his shots from distance on five attempts per contest, Barrett provides a value to the Knicks' offense. Doncic vs.

Barrett, which is not exactly the matchup of the century, seems like the two names you'll hear most of on Wednesday evening. The Dallas Mavericks, despite having won seven of their last nine games, need Luka Doncic to find his usual, dominant self in order to take the next step in the Western Conference.

Here are three big Mavs takes. With Portland Trail Blazers franchise cornerstone Damian Lillard set to have abdominal surgery, how will it affect the Dallas Mavericks? With the lead rocking back and forth early, tonight's game looks to be a fun one.

Doncic already has five points. Sticking to the theme of struggling vs. Not only did Dallas miss open shots, but Dwight Powell failed to execute on a wide-open alley-oop finish.
