Intercollegiate athletics is an important part of the residential college experience, and BGSU's rich sports tradition is a major source of school spirit and pride for the campus community. The College of Arts and Sciences is dedicated to offering a transformative education to help a new generation of students become thinkers, problem solvers and socially responsible citizens in diverse careers from actuaries to actors and scientists to sociologists.

Students are registered for BGSU courses and receive BGSU credit, and can make use of all of their institutional, state and Federal financial aid when participating in one of these programs. Exchange programs provide students the opportunity to be fully immersed in the academic setting studying alongside host country nationals in university courses.
